Hi everyone.

We're still planning to have TRSAC 2020 IRL version taking place in October.

Due to popular demand, we have decided to EXTEND this LAST edition of TRSAC with ONE MORE FULL DAY of partying.
TRSAC 2020 will open the doors on Thursday October 15th, and end Sunday October 18th.

Usually we limit for up to ~150 sceners to attend, however we're willing to consider expanding for this last edition if the demand is there.
so therefore:

Furthermore, due to Assembly moving their physical edition to the same dates as TRSAC, both parties will combine their compos, and work together to give all visitors a seamless experience.

(note: We’re aware that the situation regarding Corona might be very fluctuating. If new lockdowns happens TRSAC might have to be cancelled – yet, this is not what we’re planning for! :) )

More info on the combined compos will follow - one thing that you can for sure expect is that we’re not gonna be flexible with the deadlines as we usually are - and the deadlines will be earlier than normally at trsac.

Hey everyone, a covid update from Aarhus. Unfortunately there's been, 2 outbreaks in Denmark in the last week, where one is in Aarhus. Stricter whereabout rules have already been enforced in hope of stopping it quickly. This made the thread holding Trsac 2020 alive, somewhat thinner. We aren't cancelling yet, but it may suddenly be a reality, since we aren't allowed to be gathered more than 100 people at the same location (which was planned to rise to 200 just a few days ago, but now postponed)

So for now, the brakes have been stepped on for a bit, while we're awaiting the situation and possible escalation.

Not to worry, the organizer core have done it a long time and can quickly make it happen, but for now, dont get your hopes to high up.

Regarding doing an online edition, were talking about it, but personally speaking, it doesnt make sense. TRSAC has never been that much about the compos alone, more the party as a whole.

.. So, maybe wait a bit booking those flights :(

We are cancelling the 2020 edition of TRSAC due to the current Covid-19 situation :(


The Danish government has extended the ban of gatherings larger than 100 people until October 31st. At the same time more and more countries are also imposing more travel restrictions - and in all fairness we do not believe that we can host a proper TRSAC (escalated chaos) under the conditions that the current situation requires.

It would simply not feel like a real TRSAC if we tried.


Where does that leave TRSAC? - this was supposed to be the LAST edition

- We will arrange the last TRSAC, once the situation once again allows - hopefully next year. We want to go out with a bang! :)
- We will host the Live Acid Music compo (online) during the TRSAC 2020 weekend in one way or another.
- We will attempt to gather the organizer team, and have a small IRL event during the TRSAC weekend, and try to share/stream it with you if possible - hopefully we can beam a bit of TRSAC feeling out to all of you.


What we will exactly do during this years TRSAC weekend has not yet been settled, as we have just made the tough decision of cancelling, so stay tuned for further updates on this.

Oh damn :( That is sad, but yeah the laws are strict now all over ... Good you still will do the acid compo and maybe a extra stream and then back with a killer last bang (hopefully) next year !!

Guess I have to try to make an acid track instead of a demo this year, then. Is there any hope of seeing a drunk starfish dancing on the stream? :D

Super stoked that there will be a last physical party at some point, stay safe in the meantime!

I'm looking forward to that. I hope you consider doing more online compos, even if they are just music compos.

We havn't decided yet about other compos - also since ASM is running at the same time, and we did plan to do the compos together.

We know that this is not very specific information, but effort was put into evaluating the physical event first, and then take it from there.

I would also like to underline, that it's not like we wont ever host a party again ever (after the last TRSAC) - it's just that we do not expect to "do the same again", and maybe not with the same constellation of people either - who knows :)

Aah I wasn't aware this was supposed to be the last TRSAC installment (as we know it). Sad :( Okay that means I'll definitely have to be there when you're finally able to hold the last party!!

It's somehow a testament to the craziness of TRSAC that, when the party is cancelled, and just one compo is to be held online, it's the one that is known for its vigorous physical audience participation. :)

I will certainly be dancing along from wherever.

When updating the trsac.dk site with the cancellation info, I also removed the pages with the competition rules.
