The Nordlicht Demoparty, Platform #9: 17th - 19th July 2020

In summer 2020, get ready to embark on a journey aboard the Nordlicht train to experience breathtaking digital landscapes of the Demoscene! We'll be stopping at famous landmarks such as the OLD- and NEWSCHOOL CITY, TINY INTRO LAND, PHOTO and MUSIC VALLEY and the WILD countryside. And of course the historic would-be-famous-but-sadly-never-released-because-not-finished GRAVEDIGGER RUINS from centuries ago!
The Nordlicht Demoparty train will depart from platform #9 from 17th to 19th of July 2020 at the famous Lichthaus location in Bremen, Northern Germany.

Because of the current Corona lockdown procedures in place here in Germany, we are uncertain at this point in time whether or not Nordlicht can go ahead as planned on the specified date of 17th to 19th JULY. However, the party has NOT been cancelled as of yet. Our current plan is to wait until 1st of JUNE to see what the situation will be like then, and if worse comes to worst, we'll discuss options, like: moving the party to a later date this year or maybe even hold an online edition (very much inspired by the recent Revision Online event).
For this we would like to get your feedback: Would you be interested in an online edition of Nordlicht if it came down to that? And if so, what features would you like to see in an online only edition? We've been talking about this a bit already, how we could shuffle the compos around a bit to keep it interesting, for instance by introducing handdrawn graphics or split compos for dance and listening music to the mix. It's all in very early stages (remember we're first and foremost still waiting for 1st of June, anyhow), but it would be super helpful to have your input on how you'd like Nordlicht to pan out this year if we need to do things different as usual! :)

Yes! It'd be very sad if it won't happen, but it's much preferred over not having a party at all!
I don't really have an opinion about the compos, I'll just make sure I have at least one entry.
