Update on Oldschool .exe compos:

We told you, that we invested in a Extron DSC 301, which handles screenmode/resolution changes without (long) signal drops. This is true. However, this particular unit sadly doesn't handle scanline doubling well, which introduces some non-acceptable artefacts in the final picture.

If you are preparing an oldschool (Amiga) demo that changes screenmode/resolution during the demo, please get in contact with us ASAP.

Should you own an OSSC unit or an similar external scandouble/flickerfixer (or such internal for Amiga 1200) and you're attending TRSAC - please get in contact with us - and preferably bring it to the party - you'll be highly rewarded in beer! :)

TL;DR: for now oldschool entries will be run through the XRGB Framemeister unit, and screenmode/resolution changes does not do well with this upscaler.
