category: parties [glöplog]

the font on the new website is a bit fucked up. i was shocked at the 85€ entrance fee, only to realized some 5 minuts later that the "8" is actually a "3" =)
it really look like 85€, you guys should fix the font...
"Good luck"
Thanks for the heads-up guys. Of course the regular party ticket is 35€.
It schould get clear when you scroll down a bit:
We will change it when we get the chance to do so, but will most likely focus on actually providing more content on the website and delivering a cool party :)
Cheers!

...If you didn't ragequit the website yet because you read that this party is more expensive than Revision :D
hey guys, question: for the ascii-compo, which viewer will you use?
For the ANSI/ASCII compo, we'll use Sahli. If you need anything specific, let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
As a special treat we'd like to announce the return of last years cooperation with our friends at the Berlin Computerspielemuseum.
During the weekend you'll get a regular day ticket for only 5,- Euro if you show them your Deadline 2019 wristband at the entrance.
So if you need a break from all the party excitement or a place to chill out in style after the price giving, you can visit there and enjoy the new special exhibitions like "Start Your Engines" with arcade racing games and „The Digital Kitchen - Do (not) Play With Your Food“.

Compo information and a first draft of the timetable are online now. Also, Sponsors & Supporters are updated.
Two weeks left!
oh, it's that_ time before the party again. Two weeks left and the demo is still a list of scene ideas on a sheet of paper :'-) see you there!
I will bring 256b of baggage.
This is where the fun begins
Can't be there this year to defend my Old-Skool demo title... even If I could be there, I've not got anything anyway :D
@dirtie: That's so cool!
@dirty: Thanks, that's awesome! It reminds me of this video (which happened in that one year when we were not in the Hall downstairs)

Also the List of Liveacts is now final:
WAKE
WAKE (formerly SleepLab) is a live audiovisual project from Berlin. Thomas Mann /pixtur/ and Lena Kilkka /lucid/ blend a hypnotic, eclectic fusion of cinematic sounds with demoscene realtime visuals and theatrical guest performances. All visuals are built and performed using our own custom-made 3D engine tooll.io.
Naks / dA JoRMaS
Naks goes back to his dA JoRMaS roots with a special Amiga classics DJ set.
ektr0 / k2
ektr0 started his musical career on the Amiga 500, with Protracker but tracked less and less over the years. Through Renoise he came back to the roots and re-discovered the scene where he's active since this year again. He will play digital scene-releases controlled by two analog turntables using Linux with xwax and timecoded vinyls.
Dipswitch
You know him from Black Maiden Hi-Fi and his Sets at Evoke. Here in Berlin Dipswitch will kick your asses with dubstep and grime on Friday and come back on Saturday with some chilled dub tunes.
Zeigerkollektiv
THEY ARE BACK! Demoscene classics played by a live rock band? F*** yeah! You know them as friendly bar-people from previous Deadlines, but now you will get to know their true passion: Music! In this case they listened to a whole bunch of demoscene classics and will present them in a way you have never heard before.
WAYFINDER
Wayfinder plays music and you should be there and dance!
BombJoe
DJs Bombe and dojoe met early on during their careers, in the Gentlemen’s clubs of London where they were spinning Schranz and Garage to distinguished upper class folks. They quickly realized the potential of uniting forces and together became shooting stars among the posh and wealthy, entertaining the Houses and royalty alike. Celebrating their recent reception of knighthood from a slightly tipsy Queen after a wild night at Buckingham Palace, they are now touring Europe in their Bombjoe 2019 World Tour.

Great lineup there!
Note to our visitors arriving with public transport: There are some constructions starting today that affect S-Bahn routes S5 and S7. Be sure to visit the VBB website to get up-to-date information for your trip. A possible route from the central station is to take S7 towards Nöldnerplatz and exit at S+U Alexanderplatz, and then take M6 towards Hellersdorf, Riesaer Str and then exit at Gewerbepark Georg Knorr.
Have a safe travel and see you at ORWOhaus!

On the other hand, it's probably better than it happened BEFORE rather than during the trip/party (and I know that "better" is not the best word, but well, you know what I mean, right?) I'm not going either so see you on the stream. Hope you'll get better soon!
i just sent a remote entry, thanks for allowing remotes and happy partying ♥
