menuetos is somehow cool, but if you study the kernel source a bit you'll see it's totally screwed up. i don't think they'll get anywhere with it =)
I just liked the idea of helping them saving (floppy) disk space generating a simple background instead of using a large bitmap.
Actually I hoped they would have improved the generator, but it has been like that for 4 years now :DDD
