Hi all!

So, I have this idea about a small gift for my girlfriend's upcoming birthday and would really appreciate some (quite painless) help from people all around the world. Pouet seems like a good place to ask something like this, since the scene is an international, friendly community :)

Basically, I'd need a photo from an interesting place in your city while holding a piece of paper which says "Happy Birthday, Dori! {your name}, from {your city/country}" (of course, change the stuff in the curly braces to the real info :)).

After I collect enough of photos, I'll make a montage, print it and frame it - hopefully making her happy :)

I live in a village and because there's no flooding right now the most interesting place we have there is either the roundabout, the Chinese restaurant on a boat or a field with some cows with long hair. (Yeah, I know, it sounds sad.) Should I even bother?

And I think this idea is cute so I'll see if I can find a good spot in my city :) Is there a deadline?

We have a huge mechanical elephant in my city, I will try to take a picture on my way back home :) . Very nice idea !

my city is known for being partially blown up 18 years ago by an exploding fireworks storage, there's still a nice hole in the ground and memorial where that storage was OR more recently for a serial car pyromaniac active in the weekends whose current score is #14 in ~5 months. take your pic(k) which of the two expresses your burning love best! :D

As I drove along the field with long haired cows yesterday evening and this morning I realized that making a picture might become a bit of a challenge given my work schedule and current daylight hours. So perhaps I'll have to resort to mild cheating, let's see. Anyway, due to popular demand, here's a pic of our local "poepstars":
