Recycling old magazines
category: offtopic [glöplog]
Hey guys, having a bit of hard time trying to decide what to do with old magazines. I've got a bunch load of PC magazines about 10+ years old, plus some random RC car stuff and Playstation mags.
Anyone have any good ideas what to do with them before I go and recycle them.
I know there isn't much of a collectors market for those things, but I've rather see them put to good use rather than just dumping them.

👋 Hi 8-bit buggery!
I always recommend magazine collectors to take a look and see if they have something which is missing from archive.org: https://archive.org/search.php?query=computer%20magazine
It's a very nice to digitally preserve magazines for the future - takes some time a nice big and fast scanner helps ... :)

For french people there is a (legit) website called http://www.abandonware-magazines.org/ where you can browse old computer magazines. Anybody can participate by sending old mags or scanning them. Maybe there is a similar thing for english stuff ?
The similar thing in English is pretty much archive.org . I'm pretty sure you could just mail them the magazines and they'd be super happy about it!
