So nice !! Hope to get the compo entries after party ends !!! Tape would rule but no boozembly so u gues that wont happen :/
remote entries accepted? :P
oh for crying out loud...
I'd love to record myself crying out loud, reduce the samplerate, and then layer some serious 240bpm kickz to that.
ok too stupid to read the instructions. which qualifies me for gabba. also, what are birds?
@h0f: Lies!

That would not give you gabber, sorry.
okkie: ok. then please tell me what to do and I will be your entry slave.
make it slower than 240 bpms :D Let's get in to a ridiculous fight over what gabber is, but imo it's the 175/190 bpm early 1990s protracker music made by dutch guys from rotterdam on amigas.

@Okkie: To be fair, I do own one 240 BPM gabber track. Specifically this one from 1993.
Tempo-wise, from my brief research, modern Gabber is still in the 175-190 range. Definite evolution of the bass drum distortion though.

I'm soooooo gonna enter this compo!
personally i don't think making carbon copies of early 90s stuff is the point of this whole shebang, although it's likely that whatever i make is going to be pretty much that :)
Sure, but well... its ProTracker :D
I started btw
I started btw
Already received the first entry :)
Jesus!
..on E's?
First there was Thunderdome...around 150-170 bpm!
Then there was Terrordrome with about about 170-190bpm!
Once Gabber appeared it was like all above the 190 !
Just my 2 cents, but that´s how it felt while living through dutch highBPMTechno back then! ;)
And i love(d) all of it! :D
I´ll submit my 1-2 tunes, be assured of it! :)
HARDyCORE will never die!!!
