Your favorite Deadline returns this October for the 5th time already!
As in the last years the party will happen in the faboulous industrial Orwohaus location, since last year with improved toilets and sleeping area.
As usual we will have:
* space for up to 200 visitors
* high quality bigscreen and sound-system
* new and oldschool competitions (always from the real HW)
* great musical acts and DJs
* cozy bar and athmosphere
* big outdoor area with possibility to camp
* retro-gaming tournament
* seminars and workshops (TBA)
* separate sleeping area
Additionally we plan some surprises for our 5th birthday, which will be announced over time.
So mark the date, plan your releases and check out our amiigaa invitation by The Electronic Knights. (which was part of the checkerboard challenge at Gerp)
Can't wait!
...and we have another invitation: Check out "Come to Deadline" by Rabenauge. Thanks guys!
In other news: Until the new website is ready, feel free to contact us at contact@demoparty.berlin at any time with your questions, or check out last years website, as most of the information there will still be valid this year!
I can't wait to see you all! :)

speaking of TRACKED MUSIC - we opened up that one as well a bit:
- Entry must be in any format supported by OpenMPT (MOD, XM, S3M, IT and many others).
- We will play back entries using the latest xmp-openmpt plugin for XMPlay.
..and while speaking about compos:
- Find all rules on the website (PC compo machine info will get updated still)
- Remote entries are welcome in all compos - the deadline for them is Oct 4th 2018, 13:00 (CET) - but it's not the same as being there ;)
Btw. the ordered glasses are supposed to be cyan on the right side and red on the left side - because apparently this is not standardized.

It usually is, though.
The problem tends to be that when you give people foldable cardboard glasses they put them on the wrong way around. :)
Here's a little goodie for all Deadline Visitors: Show your wristband at the entrance of the Computerspielemuseum on Saturday or Sunday and get in for 5€ instead of 9€! Thank you guys! <3 It's really worth a visit and they have a little demoscene section there as well. Sounds like the perfect place to head to after the prize giving ceremony, right?

what about AY music?
256b compo in Germany hyped!
AY music is also welcome but we don't have any hardware for that so we'd either use ay_emul or my unreleased pt3 player on ATARI ST (which translates the 1.77Mhz Spectrum frequency to the Ataris 2Mhz) if its PT3.
Personally I'm thinking ay_emul

This year the official Dynablaster world cup won't be at Deadline as in the last years. But we still will have a Retro Games Tournament and we will let YOU decide which game to play:
