dlz: STRING ALT ENTFERNEN? ;)
No, I'm not one of these people.
osX here, it's ok, but not great. It doesn't really matter either way cuz I can fix it larger if need be. Which I might, but I don't really need to spend all day reading pouet anyway.
ok, i'll put it back to 9pt till a better solution is found

"The wonderful thing about standards is that there are so many of them!"

Personally I use 1400x1050 on a 15" laptop display (its native resolution) to avoid pixel smoothing In order to make it readable, I have to set fonts to size 12-14, which looks very nice (pixels can hardly be seen).

So I am used to this problem, the choice of most pages to have a font size that looks ok on 95% of windows computers (but not mine). I use Ctrl+/- all the time to get the page in a readable size.

Note that this is going to be an increasing problem in the times to come. LCD screens are becoming popular and better, they use large fixed resolutions (and pixel-smooth all the others) and standard size windows fonts just look too small to read. I heard microsoft's next UI will address that thing, but for now we are mostly stuck with the font sizes that look good on windows default settings.

Using Linux btw.

You can also use ctrl + mouse/trackball wheel to change font sizes in most Windows applications.
