Generation Y Computer Scientists
category: residue [glöplog]
I've just founded a new group on Facebook.
This is a group for all computer scientists, software developers, programmers, user interface designers, web designers, IT managers, etc. who were born between the years 1980 to 2000.
If you belong to this category and are interested, feel free to join this group!

to reminisce now nice Pascal was while listening to Mr Mister?
*how
There are various interests people from this generation have in common. Such as: finding a job; finding a PhD position; advancing their career; learning more about areas of computer science that interests them; finding out about areas of computer science prior unknown to them; founding a family and raising children; etc.
Damn, i am too old for this shit!
Me too :)
Same here. :D
So... who hijacked Adok's account and is testing his spam bot?
Der kleine Adok möchte aus dem Troll-Paradies abgeholt werden.
I'm pretty sure even the members of Mr Mister are more qualified to give advice regarding founding a family and raising children than computer scientists.
Well, computer scientists probably know where to link to:

I have now purchased a domain for this group: http://www.genycsclub.net/
And this is the official logo of the group:
It is based on a screenshot from an intro which I coded using Quick Basic when I was 12 years old...

Wow, amazing.
Great News: The member count has already surpassed the magic number 100 - within just 40 hours since the foundation of the group. That's not too shabby! Seems like I've had a great idea this time!
I'm too old by 1 year :(
You are welcome to join nevertheless. We are tolerant. There are already some members in the group who do not fit in the age category. If you are interested in communicating with computer scientists in the age category 1980 - 2000 then please join us.
Excellent logo. That Quick Basic intro must've been created by a genius.
Is that Quick Basic intro available somewhere? I'm actually kinda curious.
fizzer: It is in the package of Hugi #1, in one of the subdirectories as a "bonus" supplement (it is not embedded in the actual mag).
Well. It's not bad for a 12-year-old I guess!
I'm starting a new group on Facebook for oxygen-breathing bipedals with 1-3 eyes. If you belong to this category, feel free to join this group!
phoenix: i mostly breathe nitrogen, can i still join that group?
