Scene webzine

Hi,
Do you know if a demoscene webzine exists? Something like Hugi with articles, interviews, party reports, or news, but online and regularly updated?
Thanks for your help!

http://www.hugi.scene.org/ 1 edition every.. 4 years ? :)
I really wish there would be one. :/
Indeed. Why not go make a dem... website about it? :)
I'm with Preacher. Create a webzine yourself. Let people know your opinions about demos, demoscene etc.
(and that's how you answer seriously with a meme phrase :)) )
I'll promise to write if someone makes a zine :)
..Like a celebration/call for good times.
Sometimes it's mentioned in older demos/intros credits.
hugi's interfaces makes me feel my pc is a 386 in the good way, I like fullscreen mode + music. There is something strong. You click, windows disappears, a world opens.. shit it was 2 hours ago.

So far you only my speakers feel a bit shaken (thanks to the music autoplay with no obvious navigation (play/pause button looks like > and only changes to || when you click it twice).
Turn down the volume please before clicking that link.
i think we have local ones like scene.hu for hungarian demoscene (obviously poking out to intl. waters regularly)
There used to be a couple of online magazines about the demoscene: e.g. Kubika, or Eurochart PC. Alas, none of them is online any more. And that's the big disadvantage these mags have in comparison to diskmags. Diskmags are archived at scene.org for ever. You can still read the first Hugi issues from more than 20 years ago. Nothing is lost. And that's why we will always keep the diskmag format for Hugi and only supply online editions as an additional feature.
There's nothing that inherently stops online zines from being archived on scene.org. People just... don't do it.
I 'member!
'member Imphobia, Budyn etc...? I loved those silly interfaces too. In one of those, when you were idle some animated character started to walk on screen, while scene music was setting the mood in the background. Good times.
There was necessity for custom interfaces like this back then, but now it would be an artificial waste of time. Anyway, it's OT.

Nice compilation Adok, thanks.
Really like that encyclopedia format Adok, but where the hell's Grapevine?!
Woah, didn't know about this :D

Ah, reading the foreword I see your remit didn't extend to miggy mags, so fair enough re Grapevine :)

So who is going to make one? I spent 18 years of my precious time making Hugi (starting at age 12). The result was that people insulted me and stated that I am "writing about things I have no clue about". Okay, then somebody who has a clue shall make a diskmag, but why is nobody doing it? Do you know if a demoscene webzine exists? Something like Hugi with articles, interviews, party reports, or news, but online and regularly updated?

You have to live with the fact that there are some people who are suited for demo making while they are not interested in making a diskmag, and at the same time, there are people where it is the other way round...
