Atari STFM Mainboard

category: offtopic [glöplog]

Hey folks,

i'm new on here. Dug out an Atari 1040 STFM for some fun with trackers. At least it seemed so. After opening it up for cleaning and out of curiosity i found a mainboard which didnt quite fit the model number. Number says C103414-001 Rev1 which would be an 520 STFM but i never saw an 520 mainboard with composite output. Also it seems to have a hacked together 2MB RAM mod.

Someone had one like this before? Any major differences?

520STFM's were mostly a thing we knew from British and French magazines back in the day, I don't think I've ever opened one. This board doesn't look much different from 1040 boards though.

if by 'composite output' you mean the tv connector, thats what the M stands for - Modulator
