WANTED: We are looking for an ex-Sysop from Dual Crew or Sining. Neigbours or far acquaintance accepted (no proofs needed) to reform Dual Crew or Shining (we are not sure yet). Of course we will withdraw the actual DCS and make maximum trolling around.

i was actually in DCS in the late 1990s, making music for a few console cracktros. still it would be kinda weird and inappropriate if i would decide to revive the group. =)

I once saw a guy in school with a dual crew t-shirt. Good enough?

@Dipswitch: I was in some obscure groups in the 90's (For which I am happy there are no proofs ;)) and some more famous but for only a few months without having produced anything and without any proof exept my memory and... I don't care at all !! And I also would find inappropriate to claim for anything !

This is where I stand on the issue. Provide proof, and the claim can at least be investigated. With zero proof, what we are supposed to think?

Let's test this on myself: I was a member of INC from '87 to '88. Want proof? Okay, I can provide a crack screen I distributed with one of my releases using a ripped intro loader I stole from Bad Street Brawler (I couldn't code asm very well back then). But what if you think I faked the evidence this year just to make my claim? Okay, then I have two options: I can either link to that same intro loader in some publicly-accessible archive that I don't control that has the original file dates, or... I can rescind my claim. Because if I can't prove my claim beyond a reasonable doubt, then I've earned the privilege of shutting the fuck up.

It would be very difficult for me to prove I was a member of INC because the Chicago chapter wasn't very active, I didn't keep BBS logs until after I left the group, and I don't have any other INC releases on floppies other than my own. So guess what? I don't really try to stake that claim, although I do mention it casually in conversation.

It's just known by some random sceners but beyond that no one knows about and no one cares.

Whatever group you're bringing back dudes, be sure to consult with me first. I've been on the BBS's and drawn so many infofiles for groups (which practicly means I've been the CEO or at least the VP of PR), so I have more dibs on groups than Oracle, Microsoft and Nokia combined have on tech patents.
