I wonder why no one has picked up the borderline creepy stalky vibe in this. I used to be the target of a guy who found God through my demos. Did not like it.

This thread feels to me like one of the reasons why the demoscene doesn't attract that many new people nowadays.

The truth is, I also would love to know more about people who dare to say what they think, like Destop. However, I know what tends to happen when they do, and this does not have much to do with the demoscene specifically.

So, asdromeda, just be thankful for what we've got and, hopefully, we'll get more one day.

I think pouet fellas are too quick to jump onto the "its a troll/weirdo!" train these days.
Many dont take into account that not everybody is a good english speaker and that some sentences arent meant like they may came across, especially when taking "subtle meaning" into account. Also remember that theres multiple culutural backgrounds which may impact this even further.
I dont want to say you have to tolerate everything and everybody but a little more empathy before going down the "fuck you, have a meme" road would be nice here and there.
And just because its all fun and games to you doesnt mean everybody else sees it like that.
