NVScene 2015
category: parties [glöplog]
I really liked the whole event, even (or escpecially?) the shared party/conference character. Great demos, great talks, and with some minor exceptions, great coverage.
to everbody who was involved ^_^

This is kind of my "go to" question after these sorts of events but....will the seminars be available online? I grabbed Pixtur's one from the scene.org ftp but are there recordings, too?
The GTC crew is already editing and uploading stuff to the GTC On Demand site, although that might be bound to a GTC ticket.
On our side, we have a ton of footage, some of it is raw from the recording crew, some of it is from the stream, and so on. We just need to find some time to turn it into something human consumable.

Kaboom!
I left the sofa 30 minutes before pc compos started. :( It had/has it's reasons.

nothing for the 4th android demo ? :)
ok!
ntsc: Yes there is (demo compos were prized top 5), but we're still in CA. As soon as we get back to home we'll deal with most of this things ASAP. (That's the cross remote entries have to bear ;)
ah that's cool :)

Cool, I'll have a look :)
Speaking of loud, unconventional things... I suppose there was no gabber in the music compo, or it would have been preselected, right? :D
In what music compo? ;)
Bye bye California. Tiny Shredder and I hope to see you again soon.
what about the seminar slides? any chance that more of them get uploaded to scene.org? especially the "GPU Unchained" talk by Timothy Lottes sounded interesting..
He in particular didn't have slides, just livecode.
eh :) ok thanks, then i'll keep my fingers crossed for the recordings..
All the seminars are available for viewing at https://registration.gputechconf.com/form/session-listing&doSearch=true&queryInput=&topic_selector=NVScene, but we'll also re-host them.
So much to digest!
Caution: pants-shitting audio volume / mic gain issue around 1:50 in iq's shadertoy talk.
Dude, spoilers!
sorry :) Seriously though - thanks so much for getting these online.
Timothy Lottes' talk is seriously WTF - disturbing stuff. very. but in a good way :)
Allthough i had hoped that the "GPU to CPU command buffer" topic would have been discussed in much greater detail than just those ~60sec at the end..
Again, thanks a lot for making the seminar videos available!
