nico: wait you didn’t mean the roadtrip to Aalborg is cancelled to did you?

Deus: it seems you have more updated info than me - I only know of the flights and of the bus that is now cancelled :)

But that image off the google document about car rentals...price per head and....I'm so confused...

That image was more or less just a way to show how chaotic/structured we worked out what to do, how and how much.

A lot of us lives to far from each other to actually plan a trip to Aalborg together, so we more or less have to get there on our own .. we haven't really planned that part yet, we just rushed to buy ticket while they were somewhat cheaper than we expected.

Ah, I might as well just get a roundabout ticket to Aalborg then on the 1st or 2nd. Thanks for clarifying.

Hi,
Could someone lend me a hearing protection device for the party? (we bring our 6-month-old son to the party, and it would be nice not buying a device just for this occasion).

traditional ear plugs are not enough? you can grab them for free at the infodesk (or at least they were last time). also, some higher quality plugs can be purchased at local pharmacy, usually in the range of 5 euros or less.

I'm pretty sure earplugs for a 6-month-old constitute as a choking hazard.

or we could simply not release any noise demos at revision this year! :P
I'm not sure if I want to see how you fit those earplugs into the ears of a 6 months old toddler.

If nobody else offers, I can throw a pair of earmuffs intended for noisy outdoor machinery work* I modded in to headphones a long while back in to my luggage. I think I still have the pair somewhere. I don't remember if they're adjustable or not. If not, they might be big. I'll look tonight.

* Like this, not this.
argh, somehow i've read 6 years old instead of 6 months old.
yea, i don't have any suggestions there.

Oh. So did I. Erm, 6mo might be quite a bit young for something as loud and busy as Revision ... but this isn't the place to judge.
I have only one pair, but they are like 5EUR. I bought mine second hand for 1EUR.

there was a similar aged baby sitting near me last year with the proper construction site style headphones, there most of the time, completely happy and ignoring the sound/big screen :) you could always sell a pair on after your kid out grows them..
relatively decent new ones for construction work are like in the 10 euros range, so they do not cost exactly and arm and a leg.
when you have a kid, everything costs an arm and a leg.....

I'll offer 2EUR at the end off the party!

Maugli: We have 2 proper 3M Peltor Junior earmuffs, and we'll only need one, so we can bring the spare if you want. Note that the first time we tried it, our oldest kept removing it (at a music festival), although at Revision she was happy to keep it on. And even with headphones, I wouldn't advice bringing your kid to the front of the stage during compos or concerts.
