Nice one Mcbain. Did you read any of the followup books written after his death? I got given 1 and just couldn't bring myself to read it. I think I got put off when I tried those awful books by Frank Herbert's son...
Strugatsky brothers books, especially The Ugly Swans and later.
A ponderous read but very helpful to understand todays "western" society.

I dunno. I started Personal (missus got it for me for Crimbo) - seems a bit far fetched, trapsing all over Europe with CIA/FBI chasing a sniper. Not the same guy we get to know in One Shot or Killing Floor.
