from my humble demoscener pov, the hackerspace related events i've been to are boring, nerdy and quite possibly the loyal opposite of a demoparty. i assume for "them" the culture shock is quite mutual :)

I accidently keep reading why to make people aware about the demoscene...

Whilst people were "outreaching" the last coupel of days i made 2 new effects :)

And I worked on concept art and a storyboard.

I drank a bucketful of booze, coached my daughter's tee-ball team to yet another win, helped grading and sorting out the state teams for said tee-ball club, hung out 4 loads of washing, cooked a pizza and some tea cakes, bathed the dog and watched the first season of "Selfie" (it was mostly shit but Karen Gillian is nice to look at and has *some* funny moments) and I worked on some music I might have ready for Syntax.

I didn't make anyone aware of the demoscene in that time. Sorry.

Most depressing thread ever.

I have developed a new computer game idea! But I'm afraid it's probably quite stupid!
