But let me tell you... to get the best döner in town, you have to travel to one more "city", right 2km away from the party location. This döner is called "Efe Döner" in Biebesheim...

But if this is a problem due to booze or something else, there is a little shopping mile near to the hall in gernsheim, that has a döner to my mind as well... but don't sue me, if it's not tasty! :)

the only thing is, that you can put new soles to the shoes of the döner people while they work. If I order there like 20 Döners, the first ones will be cold when the last ones are made...

Maybe we can build up a döner task force and make some driving arrangements "privately", like fen not as a official organizer, but as a person who likes döner as well ;-)

that reminds me about that group of people at northcon (which had like 2.5k gamers around) who wanted to make mettbrötchen for some folks and asked on the forums if anyone is interested.
when there were >100 orders the orgas put a stop to it, tho ;)

d.fox+green: thanks for the info. will closely follow further development, and will put my name there when I'm 100% sure (= have a plane ticket bought).
the problem is actually quite simple - on one hand, I try to visit as much parties as possible, but on the other hand, I hate to be on the list (just to have a reserved place on a limited space party), only to cancel it later because it turns out that I won't make it - happened few times already. (and it's not good neither for the orgas, nor my "friends from far away").
if it's not a limited space party, I put my name there much easier, with less pressure (and usually show up). also, much easier to convince few more to come with me in last minute.

the most important rule is: ease
yeah, this is only to show off, to whom we can look forward and be happy about all the names and nice people to expect :)
