well, it was my first PC demoparty since 1995 and I have to say I liked it! Looking forward to next year's edition! It was like a Forever for the PC scene :-)

This has to be one of the best first editions of a party ever. The organizing team has been extremely helpful and friendly in every regards. The location is absolute top-notch. The unpaid ORWOhaus staff constantly got mistaken to be sceners as they matched the spirit (and smell) perfectly. Perfect bon-fire. There has been a lot of attention to detail and to party visitors have a good time.

Only a couple of minor first-time-party-organizers mistakes done.

However, moqui does not make a good party host and should not be allowed on stage drunk. It is expected that the first edition of a party has weak entries, you have to earn your reputation as a party organizer first. Walking on stage saying "The entries that follow now are a bucket of shit" is insulting those who actually did do prods for your first party, I didn't like that at all. I actually did enjoy some of the entries.

The DJ / live act line-up didn't work well to get people dancing, especially as due to the bon fire the real party has been outside anyway.

Not that it matters much: The party name is a bit boring. Why not just call it "Aufbau Ost"? That's more catchy.

To sum this up: Very well done job, and I am more than happy that we finally got a well-organized demo party outside of south-eastern Germany again. Looking forward to Deadline 2015.

Sorry, I have been way to drunk at some/many point(s). I didn't mean to insult anyone. Please take my deepest apologies. <3

moqui is an excellent party host and we all love him =)
i think everybody knows that drunken announces should be taken with a grain of salt and tbh i rather take a joke gone bad than totally generic announces that just tells everybody how awesome they are again and again (which they also did at times so i guess that makes it a par? ;).

And yes, you guys did a great party (and it also was a perfect excuse to finally move my ass to Berlin for once)!
If the visitor-experience at our nordlichts came only close to this im a very happy orga (because its always a big difference if you stand on the other side of the Infolettencounter).
Im officially DEADline INSIDE and my bed has this magical attraction to me all of a sudden, so sorry for not typing more asslicking bullshit at this point ;)

10/10 will call again!

Thanks for a great party everyone :)
Still in Bus on the Autobahn as my FlixBus simply didn't show up and we weren't getting an explanation until about one hour later (something like "the driver fell asleep")
And now Stau on the Autobahn.
I rather enjoyed the party and hope to be back again next year!

maep: me and arab searched for your headphones, we didn't find them though.
Good luck on getting them back!

Thanks again for this awesome party. I will try hard to contribute a release next year ;-)

What I liked most:
- Awesome atmosphere
- Letting us do our workshop-experiment (and toning down the music)
- Fruity Loops and good orange-juice for breakfast
- The food!!! Wow – just stunning. Too healthy and tasty for a demo-party
- The video and audio-equipment was top-notch. netpoet seemed to have quiet some fun with the grandma.

Some ideas for improvement:
- The entry-areas hasn't been used much, although it looked so nice with the couches and stuff. There is probably some potential by keeping it a bit warmer and more comfortable to hang around and talk without having to screaming. Would be cool to have a crowd pleasing game like "PainStation" or some Kinect-Stuff there. Probably just arranging the sofas not just like in an Death-star landing strip, would make all the difference. Some tables would also be cool.
- The DJ-Lineup on friday was nice, but on Saturday after the compo, you should go a bit more mainstream and avoid long pauses. You lost quiet few visitors at that point. I would love to get Ronny here :-)
- Not sure about the placement of the screen: The columns made it impossible to read the titles and credits of the productions.
- A second compo-machine!!! Damn, I would I love to know, why the release didn't run on that machine. This was the most stressful release I had since years.

Otherwise: Easily ranks 3rd among my favorite parties. Good job!!!!1

I really really liked the party! It was awesome. And actually winning a compo for the first time definitely made it unforgettable. I also think, that the placement of sofas/tables/screen was unfortunate, it would have been better if there was more space/sofas in front of the screen for the compo time. Otherwise I really liked the location and the staff—everyone was really kind. And I thank everyone who the awesome releases and the great time :)

Also: is there a downloadable version of the jingle? We loved it!

I tried hard to think of something I really disliked about Deadline, but came up empty. Sure, not everything was managed as profesionally as is the case at Evoke or Revision, but things like not having a proper jingle on the first day of the party or missing Partymeister customization rather fall in the "happy little accidents" category and did not spoil the experience.

Finally, some photos by ted and me: http://keyj.emphy.de/photos/deadline2014/
(photos from Sunday are still missing; we'll try to add them in the next days)
