Image for my office wall

category: general [glöplog]
Hey guys,

I'm looking for demo images to print large-scale to hang up on my office walls. I'm planning to capture them with kkapture but another way to get them is fine with me as well.

Any recommendations for images or demo parts that I should capture to hang up?

Just ask if you want higher resolution or a different camera angle / scene composition or feel free to change the colours if you don't like them ;)

The end of Beyond maybe?

Or a picture of Greg Martin, which looks like this...

;-)

Or something from ASD... Spin or so?
Or uncovering static... all black and white and one thingie in red at the beginning... that would be neat as well

I can generate you a giant high quality glass spikeball.
New formula, even smoother!

What about this (same as screenshot but high resolution) : http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=59086

You might also look at some RGBA procedural graphics as some are really nice.

well theres already a whole (and pretty big) community doing (non realtime-) fractals and pictures of it so, while they are looking nice, i wouldnt advise those for giving your room a demosceneish edge =)

I dont know if 1080p is even enough for a big print. You probably would even need a 2k to 4k still from a demo without any compression going on.

... 1080p is probably better suited for "traditionally" framed photos (size around 20 to 30cm per side). A nice contrast: modern demoscene graphics framed in oldschool wooden frames (with passepartouts). :)

Well depending on how you want to print the stuff, you really want resolutions above what's usually available in resolution selectors.
