I get what I pay for. The burst can be more than twice that. I can buy 60 down, but it seems possible if I do I give up the right to be able to use my own modem. All plans have upload maxed at 4; the stated max was 5 when I started my plan 3.5 years ago.
There's fiber in the area (not Google) but it only services a few selected streets I don't live near.
