Why hello there fine pushers of pixels,
I help manage a chiptune label called Cheapbeats. You can check out the catalogue here: http://cheapbeatsmusic.bandcamp.com/
A good portion of our artists are old sceners who favor the oldschool pixel art when it comes to their album covers. We're currently looking to build a little roster of pixel pushers that could be available for on-call work whenever we need a cover done.
We cannot pay a ton of money, but this IS paid work. We're looking for serious people that can deliver a couple of sketches in a timely manner and who can work with deadlines. If that's you, then by all means please contact me!
