Hey StingRay, is this café located in Australia? :p
Ok, I never was fun of Counterstrike (I don't like to be killed and then wait for 1 minute. I prefer Unreal Tournament 10 times more), but now I am thinking it, some of the map design were unique for multiplayer.
I always hated CS. I really couldn't see the charm in playing the same map over and over, with people always doing the exact same things in the same sequence, camping in the same places....
Unreal Tournament on the other hand had it all. Great graphics and sound, but that was, in my opinion, its least merit. Brilliant, dynamic game-play and fantastically designed maps mixed with great feeling and well paced combat. This was the first first person shooter that I actually liked and soon came to love. It's still the best game of its kind I've ever played. :-)

Yep, and CS was the real ancestor of all military shooter fad and screaming kids. Several years before COD and BF and all that shit.
Ok, back to posting pictures
:D

I play the last CS... in deathmatch mode... standard modes are too boring...
But let insert some random people picture:

Never liked CS that much and yes UT2004 was the shizzle. Hey I've always loved the fact that I could get unreal to run windows partitions on most of my older laptops.
BF2 was it for me (it's where my username is from).
Gameplay was shit but being able to setup a linux server, host lan and internet games and the whole playing as commander or squad leader thing.
Me and a few of my mates used to regularly play as a squad with one of us as commander on a live game. That level of coordination had us on the leaderboards. At least until the 4th or 5th bourbon, 7th or 8th beer and 2nd or 3rd spliff. ;]
