Try EL (electroluminescent) wire? I saw some at Revision on someone's jacket, and I had a little myself uncreatively on display at the end of the Nectarine table. Needs a [battery] driver, but has the advantage of being more wearable and reusable. A bit harder to arbitrarily put up in trees, though (but that's probably a good thing). I've even seen ribbons of the stuff for those want something wider.

regarding the glowsticks... as pretty as they are but isnt it quite dreadful for the environment and stuff? after all you toss em away after ~1 day of usage, and without knowing whats exactly inside... it doesnt look natural or healthy :p
So look up what's inside to determine if it is natural or healthy.

Also: did anyone record the sets? I know mine (Space Operator) sounded like a methlab on wheels but if anyone has a rec. I'd like to hear it. Same goes for Dip & Faxe I know.

I had so much fun this weekend i almost ascended.
It was great to talk to everyone again and meet new people as well.
beer, good weather, nice music, great demo's, CURRY!, alpaca's, m0d talking dutch, hapkar, ron jeremy etc etc what a weekend.
A big thanks to everyone who made the party possible and everyone else who was there for the great time. I hope outline will be back next year, it has to be or Jesus will be very displeased if we don't celebrate his ascension in this awesome manner.
ps sorry for the noise in the sleeping hall. guess we lost track of time and volume due to all the euphoria (and booze) and didn't realize how loud we were and that there were actually people trying to sleep. I felt really bad about it when i read it the other day. Please visit the poo-brain table at evoke or any other party and we hope you'll accept our apology-beer/hugs

I can recall a pair of kewlersocks still at the table where the turntables were during cleanup.
It was a very awesome party, despite my little accident on saturday morning. I'll be more careful next time :)
I had some wonderful chats with people, the weather was perfect and the real party was truly outside with the tasty nightbacon, bonfire, disk throwing and chilling on the field ... what more could you possibly want? Oh, let's not forget the many awesome DJ sets - and glow sticks made everything even more awesome!
It is a shame that the noise level at night was a problem from the start and the handling of the pc demo compo was less than favorable, but compared to the overall handling of the party this is really just a minor complaint. The organizers did everything to keep us happy and were very friendly even hours past their regular bed times :)
I didn't buy a food ticket this year, but some people didn't want their dish and thus I got to try the indian curry on saturday, which was very tasty! Given the amount and quality of food served over a period of 4 days, the food ticket seems reasonably priced and I'll consider getting one the next time around.
