Someone made a remix of Second Reality using Spongebob clips.
category: general [glöplog]
The songs, the melodies are so strong - and so well-known by know, it's very difficult to spoil it entirely, as long as the melody is recognizable.
I don't get this. Someone please explain? :)
All the sounds you hear are ripped from various Spongebob clips, i would guess.
LULz. Next, SR rule #34
not a spongebob fan, but this just made my day! :)))
Brilliant! This is what happens when the demoscene clashes with the post-internet creativity. Where the slightly out of touch demosceners react bemused to the concept of YouTube poops and veg videos.
We have come full circle, namaste!

When exactly does it start looking like the original?
What is a veg video? I googled it and got vegetarian recipes (some really good ones too).
On the same channel there is also a "remake" of Yuki Satellites, lol!
Preacher i googled too (who knows why) and i think it's http://virtual.vtt.fi/virtual/proj6/veg/
This is fucking hilarious.
About veg files, aren't they just talking about vegas, the video editing software ?
I'm pretty sure it's something Okkie just made up to seem more hip.
Why did I watch all of it?
msk: yes.
I would like it better if it used more scenes from the original. There's the city scene, right down to the slightly jerky wobbly camera of 'we're just barely managing to make the machine do this holy crap', but that's about it.
The music at least sounds familiar.
To be honest, I turned it off halfway through. But then, although I know Second Reality pretty well, I've never watched Sponge Bob.

^^
In music, familiar is good. If you can recognize the melody, it's automatically +10 points, unless they managed to screw it up so badly that essential elements are clearly incorrect and sound like mistakes. What comes to Second Reality, all the correct musical notes are already available as an S3M module, so how could you possibly fail in it. Just replace the samples one by one.
GENIUS :D. Nothing but. I've been waiting so long for a real cross-over between the YouTube Poop community and the demoscene. More YTP-versions of demos, PLEASE :D.

Holy SHIT! This is fucking BEAUTIFUL :D :D. I love this SO MUCH!
For those of you that happen to watch the internet reviewer known as The Spoony One, there's a cross-over between Jester / Sanity's "Cyberride" module and a bunch of Spoony's VLOG clips (from some video review he made of some TV wrestling show): [link]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpXfkkT5nI4[/link] ... Just... fucking bizarre :D. Jester has even acknowledged it himself and apparently had a laugh ;).
The only thing missing is full automation of finding the replacement clips for samples, so Google could do this without humans having to bother.
