@KB. The music was choosen nice, indeed. Only your Apoptygma Line-up from the MekkaSymposium Whatsoever (2000?) was far better ;)

Speaking of music for a graphics compo, holy shitballs you took us by surprise for the gif anim compo!

@kb: while we are at "musics". Do you have a proper recording from the set Sly and I spun on Saturday afternoon ? Scenesat stream recording had abysmal lagging skips. It's practically unlistenable :(

Nope, sorry. I trusted the people downstream (haha) who said they'd record everything. So if it isn't on ReLive yet I can't do anything.

Finally back to a state where most parts of my body no longer hurt \o/.

Thank you to all my fellow organizers for all the work and support during our 8 days of busy co-existence in an event hall. ;) (I won't list names here as I am sure to forget somebody and that would be a shame!)

Special thanks to all the seminar speakers who take the time and effort to put together all the interesting, insightful and funny material we got to view over the weekend.

And of course a very extra special thanks with cherries on top goes to each one of our visitors! We may take the credit for providing a space and some amenities, but it is YOU who make this party the super megalactic rebel demoscene hyper pants-off spacecup that it is!

@kb: well, it is on reLive but it's ... massacred by Hannibal Lagter :/

d0dge: How is that even possible? I thought the recordings for reLive come right from Truck's laptop which was connected to the mixer and set on record the whole time :/

ReLive is taken from the stream sent to the server, so if it buffers so does the archive sadly.

@d0DgE & kb: Sadly, there was a bad GUI design in Audio Hijack Pro that caused the local recordings to be hijacked, but not recorded, until sometime mid-Sunday... :/

Just remove my Revision wristband as i paid for the car to the FlowerSFX guys etc, will try to be there next year aswell also @lug00ber thx for the jingles =]
btw, who of you guys arrived with bmw i3 (prototype version)? noticed it on sunday late night (after the compos) on the parking lot in front of the e-werk.

no clue who owned the i3, but it's publicly available in Germany since a while, so I doubt it was a prototype.

From what I heard it's just a guy who needed keys to the solar battery station on the hill. The guys from the E Werk had the key and were waiting for him.

@dfox, it was parked there somewhere before sunday 6pm and haven't moved at least until 3:30am (when we left), that's why I presumed that it was a scener.

@styx, it has something like "prototype-test-version-vehicle" sticker on the side of the drivers doors. ;))) also, the interior dashboard wasn't quite polished like I would expect on the final product, but it was quite late, it was pitch black and I was half asleep.

I heard that i5 and i7 are better than i3, though!
does it have a quad-core engine?

It took me over a week to recover ;)
Thanks everyone for the amazing time i had at revision.
Never met so many nice people in such short time!
Everything was great, organisation was smooth (as usual), food was good (as usual), the live coding event was nice and i hope it'll be back next year, the music performances were massive (as usual) i loved the variety and having dj's playing outside was great, Knoekie should have played outside as well, but there was probably a good reason not to, so no homo.

Hope to see you guys all at Outilne or Evoke

Mazel Tov!
wurstgetrank: Knoeki was actually scheduled to play outside. I wasn't there myself when the call was made that weather was too risky to play outside on Saturday so I can't really comment on that. On Sunday, most people again thought moving the stage outside was a bad idea because the skies were rather threatening, but my guess that the clouds would disperse over the river before reaching the E Werk turned out to be correct enough and so we had some outside music action after all. If there's any way to do it again, I'm all up for that- but would be nice to have some actual sunshine to go with it :)

to be perfectly fair, it was me who made that call. It was pretty cold at the time (for me anyway), and moving everything outside while almost nobody knew what the plan was about 5 minutes before I was on didn't seem entirely practical (:

Better luck next time!
