i've been waiting for this kind of thing for ages. we really need to document, and in a lasting way too, what this scene was about. i mean, it's not like it's going to last forever and that's where the book is great!

A good-faith promise should be made to advance supporters, i.e. if no progress is made within a reasonable time-frame (declared up front by the seller) that it will be returned in full upon request past that date if no product is shipped.

P.S. I invested a couple grand in a DVD-ROM in January of this year and by my calculations, I will break even some time around... 2007. :-) Was it worth it? YES.

I'd like to see it on North American bookshelves in English.

Freax will be only available in English.

MadenMann: Earlier Tomcat stated that Freax would be free to translate to any language, as long as the translater is a demoscener or so.. (Makes me wonder - what is a demoscener? is someone who just writes about demoscene a demoscener? If so - wouldnt one who translate freax become a demoscener?).

Anyways, I'll buy the book if reviews are good, no need to buy a bad book :)
