ringo, what are you actually trying to achieve here? enrage the rest of us and make us all ask for your departure, an achievement just like Adok's one? Go ahead, I enjoy a good troll feeding session.
Adok is part of the demoscene... Not ringo!
So, I just bought this Jaguar. I buy things because I am curious. I am not gonna play much. Doom is fine, but they say it's locked at 15FPS, didn't know that. It shows a bit, not sure. But it's steady most of the time.
Crappy console mostly though. Or crappy software. I have seen the 3DO. Preety much underrated console. Has some better games. Amazing version of Another World. Alone in the dark port. Some exclusives FPS with video ghosts and RPGs amazing. Star Fighter 3000. A japanishe rpg that looks really cool. An SSI rpg with same gfx for weaps/items as EOB but realtime 3d maze. More stuff (I only dislike the FMV). I am gonna buy.

I only want to say, those logical falacies ok cool to read about. But, do you know anyone who would think be careful about all of them every time he wants to express his opinion on something (which opinions usually, are motivated by feelings and then explained with logic/logos/speech). Then it would take much slower to respond to argument. Especially in real life (when they ask me about the opinion and I have to think about first, unless I have it, but then it's emotional response). I think usually this list is used like this, someone disagrees, let's see which of the fallacies he had made from the list to disprovve him, hehehe
Well, that's a good idea. I could run some homebrew and the few demos for the machine. Now, what do I need? Some everdrive for jaguar?
Man, the Jaguar has a really shitty library of games. About 98 % of them suck and well... that's it.
I really like that story about the original Jaguar's case molds and how they got used to make some shells for medical equipment, like you posted above. It's kind of funny and nice.

The cheapest solution is the BJL mod, but you'll need a PC with a parallel port or an Atari. Possibly the best solution is getting hold of a skunkboard (which behaves like a cart minus the eeprom saves) which uses USB, but these unfortunately aren't produced any more and ebay prices have skyrocketed.
IMO if you just want to run a few things just for the heck of it, your best bet would be virtual jaguar. Although you can't trust it to be 100% correct (bus speed restriction is totally off) at least it's hassle free.
Pytogyronia,. mmmmmmmmm
Same dude, same car. Back in 1981 when he bought it and 30 years later.
did the Demoscene ever get you laid?
