The Lego Movie

category: residue [glöplog]

I was quite impressed with the way they used "voxelego" to visualize smoke, water, fire,
etc.!

Also, there's a scene that includes a lego-rasterized tunnel effect!

Has anyone watched it already and also noticed some demo'ish vibes from it?

I'm slightly disappointed that it's not stop-motion.

what gargaj said, the tAAt movies were 10x better!

also WGS++ :D
gonna watch it. i'm mad tho it's never technic scale. the figures are more flexible. and it allows other scale of details. but it's not popular. :/

Hanging to see it - hasn't been released here AFIK. Having done some shitty stopmo lego stuff in my time I'm very much with garg on this.
Hard to tell how's more keen to go and see it tbh, me or my daughter.....

Watching it now, feeling kinda demoscenish tbh
I loved the film, the fact they made it "look" like it was stop motion was good enough for me...

The film did exactly what it was meant to do, entertain. :D

Why would you even want to watch films if you're only going to pick holes in the way it was made or the things in it?
