Teerenpeli Beer

category: offtopic [glöplog]

I didnt know about this Finnish beer Teerenpeli before I visited Helsinki last summer.
Someone at a hotell in Helsinki recommended it and told me about their own pubs (with the same name as the beer).

I visited this pub.

Very nice pub with good beer and friendly staff. I will definitely come back next time i visit Helsinki.

The Teerenpeli Hippaheikki became my favorite.

Surely Finland isn't the most famous for its beers, but annual SOPP festival gathers nice amount of different breweries in the country, if visiting Helsinki at the right time during summer, worth visiting:

http://www.visithelsinki.fi/en/whats-on/events-in-helsinki/big-beers-small-breweries-2013 (it's actually also arranged in other Fin cities on different dates).

And Teerenpeli is quite nice place indeed, but their beers are not (too much) for my taste. :/

Also, if you ever get to visit, try out the blueberry cider.

If you come across any, test something by Beer Hunter's .. Their Mufloni CCCCC IPA is awesome!

Looks really nice. Remember me some bars in Prague back in 1999. You could get a big 0.5 L glass of beer there for just 0.35 - 0.50 €. (well this was before euro, things are different now)
