Cool. I also dig the fireplace in the video. It's based on this hardware/software platform, btw, so the achievement is not _that_ magical. ;)

Apropos Goto80, defmon leaked a while ago. I guess some people are still busy figuring that one out. :)

I don't know about anyone else but _I_ think writing a tracker that makes use of artificial intelligence to shape/transmutate the composition and tapping into live TV broadcasts to provide live musical elements ... is at least a TAD bit magical ;).

this shit is interpreting teletext data into music or smth? looks like a surefire champion in the "most cumbersome music composing platform" category to me...

The teletext thing is only(?) for display, fed by code/data from the vbit box. And the sound data/note insertion should also work via keyboard, doing it with a TV remote is highly impractical anyway and just like the print saving mostly for lulz.

I wish there would be a written comprehensive overview and/or code to look at, but I guess that would reveal that the "transmutation" and "artificial intelligence" features need all the quotation marks they can get. :P Still, it's a cool project, though.
