:D This is actually a nod to the 80s climbing scene where EVERYONE was wearing spandex pants, even the best climbers in the world...

Yeah, I agree it looks somewhat like a cross-dress festival ad, but whatever...
Actually that guy is climbing in a pink girls spandex suit. We did a rock-climbing quiz last year where we needed someone to "dry-climb" routes and the quiz-contestants had to guess which route he was making the movements for. We were all already a bit drunk and to make it less boring for the audience we put him into that "thing". It was good fun for everyone there... ;)
We all don't mind making fools of ourselves and still manage to have a good time doing it.

I've started climbing 1 month ago or something.

This thingy is some 10 minutes away from home, so I bought an harness, rope, some quickdraws, read saw a few youtube videos, learned some knots, and started climbing. Something like that. I'm convinced I'll be able to do that ceiling tomorrow.

Nice for training, indeed. There seems to be some decent rock climbing and bouldering in Portugal too, if you want try real rocks.
There's also and awful lot of climbing/bouldering/alpine climbing in Spain. I was there (Lleida region) last year for 2 month. Loved it!

I never realized evoke was on a climbing gym. Weird rating system on the routes though.
