Apparently this 'party' not only didn't allow alchohol, it didn't allow Kewlers or Kooma demos.

We could define lame more accurately, but we'd have to go to show a certain picture with the word 'Eurotrash' to do so.

the reason to disqualify Kewlers and Kooma, was that the makers of the demos were not present during the compo.
this was some kind of rule, which was not mentioned in the website, but which was mandatory.

Hello from lamerfest! I wasnt present during democompo and my demo were still shown, same thing with Jumalauta demo. There is no reason why Kewler's demo wanst shown. Compo-organizer didnt want give official announcement about this event.

Well, at least kewlers and kooma can release their demos in some _real_ demoparty, but Jumalauta and Ananasmurska lost their demos in the evil hands of the lamerfest organizers.

Finally it's over. Fucking über lameness. Saturday night we left local bar to see the demo compo and security-organizer-motherfuckers banned one of us, 'cause he was too drunk. Infact he was the only one who was sober. We tried to find a solution for this misunderstanding and finally about 10 guys were thrown out. "Fuckings to organizers", we thought and called a taxi and left the partyplace. Today we came back to vote and collect some prizes, but for some "odd" I couldn't get in to the voting system. Those bastards took my right to vote and 'cause of that our demo came 4th instead of 2nd place it deserved. (Or infact it was a moral winner :) Fuckings to organizers. Btw. Fuckings to organizers. I don't wan't to repeat this, but FUCKINGS TO ORGANIZERS!

The real party was somewhere else anyway.

Worst party I've ever been to.

Here's a short summary of organizing mistakes.

1) Banning people for couple of beers without a warning
2) Banning sober people who just happened to hang out with boozing people
3) Total lack of customer service
4) Being a buch of punkass nazis
5) Disqualifying demos from paying customers with the reason they weren't during the compo (since when is that required?)
6) Not letting people to vote with reasons such "you don't own a computer place!" "you weren't present during the compo!"
7) Claiming that "Dont whine, we have nothing to with the scene, everything is your own fault!" after advertising comps and advertising themselves in orange juice for example.

It appears that the lamerfest org has been living a sheltered life without having their worst nightmare as a partyorganizer being topped by something several magnitudes worse. Reading these comments I feel sorry about the fact and even sorrier that todays scene has probably grown up enough to not provide them with such an incredible experience that would lead them in the correct track in their path to maturity.

huah, nice flame : ) once i was at Syndeecate demoparty, i got terribly drunked and i vomited all 4 toilets, everyone had fun with this, even organizers : )

sometimes i wish orgas would ban some people (those fuckers at evoke04 for example) but this is simply too much ; ))
