Ahh, hotel Arcaden. That's the hotel where i had to go (and i eventually got there!) when i was shitfaced drunk a couple of Evokes back! I think it was the first Evoke in Kalk then. \o/

I have some problems with colors when exporting animated gifs with photoshop. So can someone please confirm to me that the colors in this gif ...



... are taken from the color-palette.png provided by evoke.



I have no way of checking this because when I open the gif/png in photoshop the colors are the same, but when I take a screenshot of them they are not.

GIMP says they're identical.

I've inspected those files, colors seem to be identical, and at least the bright red is identical (#E02000) in the binary file. The gamma value stored inside the PNG file ist 1/2.222222, so if you're using an environment with different gamma and a paint program / image viewer that compensates for that (e.g. mac if they're still using gamma 1.8 nowadays) you might get different colors compared to the GIF which doesn't support gamma and might thus be shown as is without color adjustment.
