that's indeed terrible. it is so clueless and FC fanboyism that it should be flagged as malware
Real demoscener is 35/40 yo with a potbelly, weaing geek T-shirts, still thinks Amiga is the shit, works in IT or games industry, thiinks he has something special over all these young wanabee assholes and is proud of being a demoscene oldschool alumni.

Really guys, Amiga is the shit.

I can't believe this topic I've made last year still gets replies. Now when I look what I wrote back then I feel ashamed about the way I used to be. Never mind, I already know how the typical scene guy is, and it doesn't really matter after all, we are here because something we have in common; the lines of code in our veins.

Touché! Let me rewrite this phrase:

[...] we are here because something we have in common; the digital influence in our veins.

Anyway, I am open to suggestions.

I have to pinpoint the fact that all graphics, including faces and characters in all demos of Assembly are drawn ONLY using the code – those are not picture-files included in the demo. No, sir!:)

You see that picture of the arena at the top? They had to draw that in code as well, because filming and photo shooting are strictly forbidden.

And they used every processor function and OS command to do it! Including FDISK and DELTREE!
