Evoke 2013 - in August, just like every year!
category: parties [glöplog]
what, there is no awesomeness compo? *wry*
hows the sleeping facilities at Evoke? considering a hotel but maybe thats a bad idea :)
http://www.slengpung.com/?id=20444&eventid=537 <- Part of the sleeping hall (the infamous skate park).
Usually there are some sport mats available. Even though the sleeping hall is right next to the party hall it's imho really quiet in there (thank you emergency fire door).

nice, thank you :) Still considering the hotel if anyone wants to join me though :p
THERE IS A SKATE PARK? O_O
Dammit, now I wish I was sleeping in the sleeping hall. Almost.
Awesome thing #2 acquired!
(The first thing I found when I searched for nearby pinball machines, there are several in town . . . )

just noticed that germanwings have substantially expanded their flight programme, and are now offering flights from STOCKHOLM to COLOGNE for reasonable prices!
swedes, come on, grab the tickets while there are some! =)

What Dipswitch said.
Will the tallest Chipmusican in the scene return also this year?
And what about the pantsoff brigade? Evoke needs more Danes!
Dwarf:You owe it to your self to visit evoke since you didnt get to attend Revision that much this year.

The danes are discussing TfT! However plane-prices down there are ridicilous and so are train times (4-5 shifts on the way etc). Car rental in Denmark is more expensive than just taking a cab :p
The plot thickens as we speak!
SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR THE DANES:
check out http://www.bahn.de - right now a train trip from Copenhagen to Cologne (takes 9 hours) on Thursday, 15.08.13, costs 89 EUR if you book quick. same price for the way back on Sunday, 18.08.13. maybe cheaper than flights! and traintrips are fun, going to a demoparty like it's 1995! =)

How about the sleeper train? Surprisingly cheaper than the daytime option (59EUR in a 6-person couchette car, 69EUR for 4-person) AND it's direct from Copenhagen. Get 4 or 6 people together, book out a cabin, get the beers in, WIN.
wow, didn't know about this one. matt, you're a train wizard! =)
the sleeper makes even more sense because you could go on the night from thursday to friday, thus saving on hotel.

On the subject of taking the sleeper train to Evoke:
HELL YEAH.
HELL YEAH.
wow! but hold on, isn't that the date when evoke starts?
(surprised about "hannover")
It's the Moscow-Paris train, so Hannover is as close as it gets before heading south. (I do have my Hannover-Cologne ticket too :-) )
I just hope that you will arrive in Hannover, not in Hangover :)
