Vice emulator question/frustrations

Hello,
I probably sound like a huge n00b right now, but I've recently started using WinVice for writing musix and the tracker I'm using requires the "ins" key; this wouldn't be a problem, except I can't find the key Vice maps to "ins." From what I've dug up, it should be Shift+Del but it won't work. I would remap it to "insert" manually, but suffice it to say Vice is not DOSBox. Any suggestions?

shift+backspace.
You can also use SID trackers on PC, like Goattracker or CheeseCutter. :)
Control + backspace also works btw.
Furthermore, you can dump the current keyboard mapping to file(s) using the settings / keyboard mappings sub menu and/or look into the win_XXX.vkm files in the ./c64 sub directory.
