where is the promotion on their website btw, tried to search for it but couldn't find it?
I think it is not released yet. Nobody contacted me either. If I hadn't watch the stream I wouldn't know I had won yet. :o/

Please give it a little time. They couldn't attend Revision and I'm not sure yet if they even got the message who won. I'll try to clear things up tomorrow.

@D.Fox: No problem. I think they need a little time to do an official press-release or however they want to present the winners on their website.
I just spoke to the people responsible. They enjoyed a couple of vacation days as well and will get in touch very shortly.

Well, there's a tiny post here, not even the artists names mentioned. Is this the promotion that "winners" get from xm:lab?
For next year, if things like this happen again it would be nice if you that a certain compo is not part of the official compos. I kinda did expect the 2nd place to be at least worth getting the revision trophy, and I was seriously disappointed to not get one. Seeing that the whole compo was initially left out of the results didn't make my feelings any better. I killed the anim/video entry i was originally making in favor of the one I did for this compo, and I regret that now.
Giving prize just for one winner is ok, but it should be explicitly clear that it is so that only one winner gets anything. The compo page mentions winners in plural, which is why I thought there would be more to the 2nd place than just my name being mentioned shortly after the screening of entries at the party.
