Thanks! Yeah, I was actually thinking about flying to Frankfurt as it's significantly more expensive to fly to Saarbrücken, but it's probably even cheaper to go there via Saarbrücken and return via Frankfurt!

Actually no, cph-fra is cheaper both there and back.

I wonder if a number of UK sceners are planning to go to Saarbrucken this time, if there's a mass flight from Stansted then I may well join up ....

cmr: but then you have to add the 30?€ for the shuttle, and you risk getting a bad shuttle time for your arrival and wait like 5 hours in frankfurt or take the trains (it isn't really a problem going home where most leave at the same time, take the 20.20 plane if you want the late shuttle shortly after prize giving).
Prices may be different when booking from sweden ofcourse, but here it's stil 609dkk cph-sar and 659 fra-cph (directly at sas), which is cheaper than a return ticket cph-fra.

Danish Bus Trip question:

Is there any chance you guys could travel via BREMEN and MÜNSTER (or nearby) ?? We would probably be about 3-5 people who would be interested in joining you from these locations if possible.

SunSpire, we'll be driving on A7 - that takes us right past Münster at least.

SunSpire: If you could gather 3 or more people to get picked up that would maybe be possible. However it would need to be one pickup/drop off location.
Also I still need to get feedback from the buscompay in general, and in particular if we need to make a small stop (if we can do it near the autobahn, it should not raise any issues though... I think :) )

sidenote: Münster is near to A1 (NOT A7)

RufUsul: basically the distance is the same going by A7 or A1 - dunno if there's still a lot of road works on A1, but apart from that it shouldn't matter if the bus goes via A1 og A7.
What matters is how much time we would need for the pickup, and thus it has to be quick and close to the Autobahn

(I guess puryx is referring to the bus driver regulations, as the trip duration is very close to the limit where the driver has to make a rest, thus delaying the whole thing quite a bit)

Psycho: yeah - the pickup wpuld most probably need to be combined with one of the other needed breaks

T-101: You could take the submarine to Aarhus, and then take the bus the rest of the trip ;)

i guess you could even go by ferry. there's a landing stage just near the e-werk. bittin are you in? :D

@v3nom was thinking about going there by flight from my girlfriends town but it costs to much :( and iam to "old" and lazy to go carriding for 27h from Stockholm so iam not sure if i should go this year or not :p
