cool men ! i guess it's impossible to quit doing chiptune :)
I've always had a love with the sound, since I got my 2nd hand C64 when I was 11. It's been a break of 19 years, and am enjoying doing it again, allbeit in a different way this time.
album released just bought :)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!
:) Cheers guys, glad you like :) Really REALLY enjoyed doing this. Brought back a lot of fab memories. More to come methinks :)
Great album. I like it very much. Especially tracks 1 and 5.
hello TDK.
Great album, I already bought it on bandcamp on release day :D
Awesome album TDK! I really like it :)
*blush* - thanks peeps. Starting to think about the next one now. Some real violin this time too possibly maybe?
To be honest peeps, I'm having a little trouble with this album.
Basically..... I'm old..... the chiptune scene has changed alot since my day, and it's saturated with many many new chiptune artists writing with LSDJ on the gameboy, creating tracks which all sound the same as each other.
The sad thing is the 'new' scene, I mean chpitune scene, is quite closed and unfriendly, so getting the word out about the album is proving a tad difficult. There's a couple of really cool peeps and artists I'm chatting to, but the most have forgotten they should respect their elders, hahahaha ;) ;) ;)
I would be so very grateful if you guys could pimp the album as best you can, just to get a bit of awareness out there. Not sure I can really give you anything in return, except the promise of another album, this time perhaps using violin as part of the instrumentation, or maybe just a fake bag of Flit?
The feedback I've had on the album has been superb, but there is perhaps something very un-hip about it at the same time, I dunno.

@TDK
i think you might underestimate the sheer mass of free music on the internet (of all genres of course) and how easy it is to drown in the crowd.
I dont know too much about the hipster-kids gameboy-scene but I doubt their support would kickstart your album into yet unknown popularity...
I guess your demoscene-history doesnt count too much in todays fast living internet world so all you can do is use the positive feedback you get to motivate you to make more music and watch the listener/purchase count slowly (but steadily) rising with each release. Don't expect to get rich with it, tho.
You clearly have the skills and style, so please stick to making music and dont be afraid to try something different.
fwiw, I twatted about your album.

Completely agreed. Even just the chiptune scene is literally drowned in new releases every week. It's the same with most of the communities, although I've found a great one on FB called Chiptunes=WIN - those guys are really positive and have a sheer love for the style.
Ha, don't get me wrong, not expecting to get rich with anything to do with music, ever.
Basically, it's all too easy these days. Improving technology isn't always great....same goes for the demo scene. Those 64/Amiga days simply can't be beaten for me.

Just stick doing C64/Amiga tunes (with a few electric violins if you wish) and don't care about the gameboy LSDJ hip.
:)
:)
Bought this album yesterday - lovely tunes man!
This is awesome. I'm really enjoying this one.
