So, one of our beloved has left us. Do we UKSceners cry and admit defeat? NO! We use our stiff upper lip (now covered in snot because we are actually crying) to organise a Pubmeat in honour of our mighty benefactor. I'm pretty sure this won't be the only celebration of his time with us, and we know it's short notice.

We propose a gathering on the evening of October 13th 2012 at a London drinking establishment yet to be decided upon, to celebrate the life of a dear friend.

Put down a scribble if you think you can make it.

Can we just find out the funeral arrangements first? I definitely cannot make that date. I totally agree with the sentiment but I think this kind of thing should be talked through on IRC first - at the very least being respectful to those who were very close to Giles.

Vampire: Lets let things take its course first.. this is way too early, I know you want to help but with no arrangements set yet we don't know whats happening, Giles' family have only just started to grieve..

You're right guys. Sorry. I think jumped the gun on this. I met Giles at a pubmeat and figured it was fitting, but yeah, it's too soon.

I suggests we push this back till November to give people a chance to take it all in, come to terms and get some grieving done.

I'll post details in a couple of weeks.

Lets wait for the funeral stuff first and if we are welcome there - and combine. 13th i could make it up & down to london (i guess). 14th we have local elections so will need to be back effing early on sunday. (yes, voting in belgium is mandatory and fined when not showing up)
