They take it and you get a fine. Minimum 300 or 500 NOK. Thats what I got last time I got stopped. Then I had one FISK too much.

the idea is NOT to get caught when you smuggle 30 crates of beer
also .. cigarettes for beer trade is on ... who is willing, flying to norway = extremely cheap smokes ..
