MMC - monthly music compo

In the spirit of the fast music compos on #modshrine, I introduce MMC.
As there is interest, I announce MMC - a monthly music compo! Won't have a fixed sample pack this time for oldschool, but if someone else wants to get one together for the next one, awesome. Max runtime 3 minutes and 30 seconds, either created: -a modern tracker, sequencer, VSTi or other software synth tune -an oldschool 4 channels, 15 8-bit samples/instruments mod or -8-bit. In the case of 8-bit, would like original data file as well as a capture to one of the formats below. Voice/acoustic samples are fine. Formats accepted: .wav, .ogg, .mp3, .mod, .s3m, .xm, .flac, .it, or .mod. Email to metoikos dot scul at gmail dot om by midnight EST of October 8, 2012.
Initially announced on the FB group aimed at North and South American demosceners in the interest of getting inactive folks there more active and ready to crank out entries for all our new parties (hi Demosplash, Art Engine, mystery magfest party, and of course the two I run) but open to *all*.
Voting will most likely be facilitated by use of the @party Partymeister . . .
