Does anyone know and can recommend a bed and breakfast near colgne?

This was pretty good, but not spectacular, when we stayed there in the spring. Should be beautiful now.

http://www.koeln-hostel.de/hostel/index.php?lang=en amazing hostel, stayed there for a week recently before, during and after Evoke. Excellent staff, excellent breakfast, excellent location (tube stop is outside the entrance), bestest!

but at some point you'll get bored of breakfast, so you need a chair lunch dinner right across the street.

Thanks for the tip, Devistator. Staff is indeed nice and helpfull. Room and beds are so-so but there's free internet connection :-) A nice and cool local Muhlen Kolsch; a quick cold shower (the room is insanely hot) and we'll get some sleep before moving on tomorow ;-)
