I just found back the article I was talking about at Solskogen. The beer bikes have indeed been banned in Köln. At least for the moment they are not available.

I'm in. I'll be in Düsseldorf between Sunday and Thursday after which I take the train to Köln. I suspect skomp will do similarly.

Would anyone like to share travel from Cologne Airport? Arriving on Friday at 3pm :)
You can easily get to Evoke or the PreParty by Train from the Airport. For Evoke just exit at Trimbornstraße (ca. 5 Minutes walk), for the PreParty exit at Köln Messe/Deutz (ca. 15 Minutes walk).

Well, i just posted the travelling by train info, the only difference is that we advise to got to Messe Deutz and then by subway there, since it will get you closer to the partyplace with less zig-zagging through Kalk. There is more travelling information at:
