True. But the thumb removal idea isn't that cool. I mean, for every thumb up there's this: http://www.pouet.net/gfx/rulez.gif . The image itself is 159 byte, or something, and the users has probably got it cached anyway. I don't think your idea would make such a big difference.

you cant cache a rating since youre never sure its gonna be the same one moment from another!

or just use opera's "user mode - emulate text browser" feature for a true wp5.1-stylee pouet experience!

Those pictures (on Pilgrimage threads for instance) are not hosted on pouet, therefore they dont consume pouet's bandwidth nor slow it down.

But they really screw up the site formating =(

yeah, links to images (or at least a user option to switch them between images and links) would be a good idea. you obviously know ahead of time that you're pissing people off when you add 2000x2000 images on the bbs threads.

I like images in threads. They liven up otherwise usually boring discussions. Granted, very large pics are annoying, one should restrain oneself.

Actually, you can set up your browser to load images only from the originating website.
