We've ordered all the electrical supplies today, should arrive here in a few days. Also Ziphoid should be getting that registration form up and running very soon, hopefully. We have successfully received our first remote entry, but of course I won't tell you more than this at this point ;)

Ja die neuste Ubuntu Version wird zur Verfügung stehen. Allerdings beschränkt sich da mein vorhandenes Linux Know-How auf ein Minimum, weshalb ich dir dringend empfehle deine Prod mit uns VOR der Party ausführlich zu testen, damit sie auch vernünftig läuft und später keine Libraries, Daten usw. auf der Compo Machine fehlen! ;)

English message for everyone else:
Yes the latest Ubuntu version will be available, however my current Linux Know-How is rather limited so I highly recommend to test your prod with us BEFORE the party so that we can make sure it runs fine and no libraries, files etc. are missing on the compo machine later on!

@sunspire: please make sure you have opengl running, esp. if the pc has amd gpu

Am i correct if i assume that for non Windows/Linux/Amiga (Kick 1.3) entries, like C64, Atari, Spectrum, NES etc, an emulator will be available if someone doesn't want to bring his own hardware?
Or shall those persons bring a video capture of their release?

yago: Will do ^^

CONS: Yes! Emulators for most platforms will be available too of course. A video capture of your release is optional but may help as a backup solution should all else fails.

looking forward to that retro tournament too! what will be played? is nes/snes etc retro enough? i have some old video game machinery here (Pongclone, VCS and newer) which i could bring along (bit depending on the means of transportation) Contact me for further details.
