It was a nice surprise.
The best thing is that you can use the keyboard of your computer to play, like in a tracker.

looks like the delay is much worse in non-chromuim browsers. They said on the blog it's using flash for sound output there. While on chromium it's using some other api.
However, on chrome the sound gets garbaged kinda quickly and isn't stable. (filters shifting without warning).
also interesting, the recording is of the note data, not the wave itself: it sounds different in different browsers
